My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims of the recent tornado in Oklahoma. On my facebook page, I’d posted this quote, which I find to be extremely hopeful:

Watching the news coverage, and reading this quote, forces me to acknowledge and revere the need for the resiliency of the human spirit. I’m not someone who naturally handles crisis or stress well, but I marvel at those who can. Moreover, I want my kids to learn those critical skills. Through my work with CARES, I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of child and mental health experts.
